Premium Egyptian potatoes grown in certified Pest Free Area (PFA) zones and selected for consistent sizing, clean skin, dependable quality, and suitability for both fresh and processing markets. EGAST owns and manages potato farms across the east and west sides of the Nile Delta, with full control over agricultural operations on more than 14,000 acres of sandy soil. With total potato production reaching 250,000 tons, EGAST applies modern agricultural practices from plantation to harvest and post-harvest handling to ensure export-ready potatoes that meet diverse international market requirements. EGAST’s potato operations are supported by three large packing facilities with a daily capacity of up to 2,100 tons, in addition to cold storage capacity of 70,000 tons. Packing methods incorporate specially designed wooden crates, advanced packing lines, and modern storage equipment to ensure gentle handling, quality preservation, and reliable export performance.
